Triple Fudge Brownies Recipe

These decadent brownies taste so indulgent that you’ll have a hard time believing they’re dairy, gluten and refined sugar free!

INGREDIENTS

2 large eggs

3/4 cups maple syrup

1 1/8 cup              coconut oil - melted and cooled

1 tbsp        vanilla extract

1/4 tsp         classic sea salt - I love Saltery’s Duxbury sea salt!

1/4 cup         coconut sugar

1 1/4 cups       dutch cacao powder

1 1/4 cups almond flour

1/2 cup        pure cacao chips or semi sweet chocolate chips - I love the date sweetened ones from Hu!

Optional:

Extra chocolate chips and sea salt for topping

METHOD

Crack the eggs into a large mixing bowl and whisk gently until the yolks are broken.

Add each additional ingredient in order, mixing with the whisk after each ingredient is added to the bowl, stopping before the chocolate chips.

Add the chocolate chips, fold in them into the batter using a spoon or spatula

Divide the batter between 24 full size muffin tins that have been generously sprayed with coconut oil and bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes.

Remove the brownies from the oven and while the brownies are still warm top each brownie with a few chocolate chips.

Let the chips melt and then spread evenly over the top of each brownie. Immediately sprinkle each brownie with a pinch of sea salt and let cool completely before removing from the pan.

NOTES

My favorite way to enjoy these are drizzled with my Creamy Cashew Caramel and an extra pinch of sea salt!
