Crispy Paleo Fried Chicken Thighs Recipe
This super easy, three ingredient, dairy free, gluten free and refined sugar free fried chicken recipe is a mouth watering must try!
INGREDIENTS
4 x ~6 oz Chicken Thighs (bone in, skin on)
2 tbsp Coconut Oil
1 tbsp+ Natural Sea Salt - Saltery's Duxbury Salt is my favorite!
METHOD
Pat the chicken thighs dry and rub the skin side of each thigh with sea salt.
In a large pan, heat the coconut oil at just over medium heat (it should be fully covering the bottom of the pan in a thin but solid layer) until the pan is so hot that the heat can be felt coming off the pan, then add thighs to the pan skin side down and cook for 10 minutes, moving occasionally.
Flip each of the thighs so the skin side is up in the pan and continue cooking for approximately 5-10 more minutes or until the internal temp reaches 165°-170°.
