Broiled Kale - dairy free : gluten free : refined sugar free : paleo : vegan

A quick and easy recipe to either enjoy as is or as an smokey addition to your favorite dishes!


kale has so many health benefits and is packed with vitamins and minerals that help strengthen the immune system and have anti-inflammatory benefits.

natural sea salt is full of necessary nutrients and trace minerals that play an essential role in many of our body's vital functions, including nerve function and mental health.


olive oil is mainly comprised of monounsaturated fat called oleic acid that has been linked with reducing inflammation and having a beneficial effect on genes linked to cancer.



Broiled Kale Recipe



INGREDIENTS


1 pound curly kale (rinsed, dried and chopped)

1/2 tsp SalterieOne sea salt

2 tbsp olive wood smoked olive oil (or regular olive oil)



METHOD


Spread one pound of chopped kale on a large baking sheet.


Drizzle with 2 tbsp olive oil + 1/2 tsp SalterieOne sea salt.


Place on top rack under high broiler for 2-3 minutes until charred.


Toss and continue broiling for 2-3 minutes, until all kale is wilted and some is charred.
