Simple Cashew Creme Sauce - dairy free : gluten free : refined sugar free : paleo : vegan

This three ingredient recipe is the perfect plant based replacement for traditional cream sauces and only requires a minute of your time - literally!


CASHEWS are low in sugar and rich in both protein and fiber which help to provide the body with a stable source of energy.


Simple Cashew Creme Sauce


INGREDIENTS


2 cups raw cashews

2 cups+ hot water

1 tsp flakey sea salt - I love SALTERY's Duxbury Salt!



METHOD


Combine all of the ingredients in a blender basin (for at least 30 minutes if you aren't using a high powered blender.)


Then, blend until smooth....that's it!


Serve over salmon, spaghetti squash, peppery greens or anything that would traditional call for a bechamel!
