Roasted Garlic Confit Recipe

This effortless dairy free, gluten free and refined sugar free recipe takes roasted garlic to the next level with an easy confit technique and is sure to become a staple item to have on hand in your kitchen once you find how versatile this sweet, mild garlic recipe can be - this recipe was also featured on the "Melissa's Easy Roasted Garlic Confit" episode of "Mood Food with Melissa"!



INGREDIENTS


2 cups peeled garlic cloves

1-2 cups  olive oil



 METHOD


Place the garlic into an oven safe dish (casserole, loaf pan, pyrex, etc.) that allows approximately 2" of space between the garlic and the rim.


Pour the olive oil over the garlic until it is completely submerged, but not floating in the oil.


Place the dish into a preheated 425 degree oven and roast for approximately 20-30 minutes, or until the garlic is golden brown and bubbling.



NOTES


Use the roasted garlic in recipes like our Clean Tahini Dream Dressing and the garlic oil in place of traditional oil in your favorite recipes!
