Perfect Pan Fried Rib Eye Steak
Featured on the "Melissa's Vibrant Steak and Potato Dinner" episode of "Mood Food with Melissa"

INGREDIENTS
12-16 oz Boneless Beef Rib Eye Steak - at least 3/4"-1" thick
1-2 tbsp Sea Salt - Saltery's Duxbury Salt is my favorite!
1-2 tbsp Coconut Oil
INSTRUCTIONS
Using a paper towel, pat the steak dry on both sides.
Thoroughly massage the sea salt into the beef on both sides.
Heat 1-2 tbsp coconut oil in a heavy pan/skillet over medium-high heat until the pan just begins to smoke.
Place the seasoned beef in the pan with one of the flat sides down.
Allow the beef to cook while moving as needed, for 3-5 minutes, or until a deep golden crust has formed.
Using a pair of tongs, flip the beef, holding it off the pan for approximately 10 second before placing it back in the pan with the uncooked side down and allowing to cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
Remove from the pan and let rest on a cutting board for a few minutes before slicing the steak into thin slices across the grain.
