INGREDIENTS
1 pound sweet sausage (remove casing)
3 cups peeled & chopped cortland apples
1 tbsp coconut oil
1/4 tsp flakey sea salt - Saltery's Duxbury Salt is my favorite!
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp sage
to taste mixed baby greens
to taste cranberry pear white balsamic
to taste raw chopped walnuts
METHOD:
Cook sausage in pan while crumbling with a spatula until browned.
Heat 1 tbsp coconut oil over medium heat.
Add apples, salt, ground ginger, sage and cook over medium heat for approximately 10 minutes, or until apples are softened.
Add the crumbled sausage to pan and toss to combine. Continue cooking two minutes.
Remove from pan and serve over baby greens with cranberry-pear white balsamic, chopped raw walnuts and sea salt to taste.
